Footage has been released of the operation conducted against a criminal organization allegedly led by Alihan Kuriş, who is said to be the leader of the Süleymancılar.
During the dawn raids, searches of the addresses resulted in the seizure of unlicensed pistols, ammunition, steel safes, and bales of cash.
SIMULTANEOUS DAWN RAIDS
Security units carried out simultaneous raids in the morning hours on addresses identified as part of the operation against the criminal organization allegedly led by Alihan Kuriş.
It was stated that the operation was launched following a report by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) containing allegations regarding 100 billion TL in overseas money transfers and links to Israel.
It was reported that 30 people have been detained as part of the operation, for which detention warrants were issued for 49 suspects. Police camera footage of the operation has also been shared with the public.
20 UNLICENSED PISTOLS AT ONE ADDRESS
The footage released by the General Directorate of Security shows the raids conducted by financial crimes units on the identified addresses.
In one of the searched addresses, 20 unlicensed pistols and a large quantity of ammunition were found. The house where the weapons were seized was one of the addresses that drew attention in the operation footage.
CASH FOUND IN STEEL SAFES
Searches were also carried out at the addresses of other suspects as part of the operation. Large amounts of Turkish lira and foreign currency were found in steel safes opened by police teams and in various parts of the houses.
