The first message has arrived from Ali Yerlikaya, who was removed from his post as Minister of Interior following the cabinet reshuffle published in the Official Gazette.

Yerlikaya made the following assessment via his social media account:

"I am handing over my duty as Minister of Interior, which I began on June 4, 2023, with the approval and discretion of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to my esteemed brother Mustafa

Çiftçi. I congratulate him and wish him success in his new role. May God make it auspicious.

I express my gratitude to our President for the great support he provided during my ministry.

I would like to thank each and every member of our Interior Ministry family, who worked with heart and soul for the peace and security of our country, from the bottom of my heart.

May God protect you"
