Imamoğlu's first message following Akın Gürlek's appointment: It is under great threat

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a post following the appointment of Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek as Minister of Justice.

Announcing his message from the "Presidential Candidate Office" account, İmamoğlu said, "The government, due to the desperation and fear it has fallen into, has risked all kinds of lawlessness."

"OUR FUTURE IS UNDER GREAT THREAT"

İmamoğlu stated, "Our state tradition, our Republic, our democracy, and our future are under great threat." İmamoğlu's message is as follows:

"Either Justice or Misery!

If there is no justice, there is no prosperity.

If there is no justice, there is no peace or tranquility.

If there is no justice, there is no reputation, democracy, production, development, livelihood, or investment. 

There is unemployment, hunger, poverty, and hopelessness. 

The government, due to the desperation and fear it has fallen into, has risked all kinds of lawlessness. 

Our state tradition, our Republic, our democracy, and our future are under great threat. 

Our determination and resolve are absolute. 

We will succeed together!"
