Following his release, Kozağaçlı shared a message on his account on the X platform. In his post, he stated, "The evil done to us will end, the oppression will cease."

WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of the case filed against lawyers from the Progressive Lawyers Association and the People's Law Office, Kozağaçlı was detained and arrested in 2017. At the end of the trial, the court panel sentenced Kozağaçlı to 12 years in prison.
The 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation upheld the 12-year sentence given to Kozağaçlı for the charge of "being a member of a terrorist organization," reducing it to 10 years and 5 months.
