In operations conducted in Istanbul and 5 other provinces on November 1, 2023, and subsequently, 24 suspects, including Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, were taken into custody.
Of the suspects, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sıla Doğu, 16 were arrested on November 5, 2023, while the court ordered the appointment of trustees to 27 companies.
A new development has occurred in the case where the Polats are being tried for money laundering.

Social media influencer Dilan Polat, who had been detained in prison since November 4, 2024, was released under judicial control.
Her sister, Sıla Doğu, who is being tried in the same case file, made the first statement regarding the release process and subsequent steps.
"DILAN IS NOW BANNED FROM USING A PHONE"
Polat's sister, Sıla Doğu, stated that they received the news of the release after leaving a closed visitation session.
Doğu said, "We are very happy, I hope others waiting for release will also receive similar news. Dilan is now banned from using a phone."
COULDN'T RESIST, SHE POSTED IT HERSELF
Just a few hours after her statement, Sıla Doğu shared a selfie she took with her sister Dilan Polat from her own phone. Doğu added the following note to her post;
"Thank you very much for your kind wishes, Nilda and I will dye your grays, you will recover, my sister."
