First reaction from Murat Emir following compensation ruling: 'We have been convicted'

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir reacted to the ruling ordering him and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to pay 150,000 Turkish Lira each in compensation in a lawsuit filed over their remarks regarding Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek.

Making a statement on social media, Emir used the following expressions:

Because of our documented revelations regarding Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek, we have been 'convicted' to pay compensation along with our Chairman Özgür Özel.

The mentality that yesterday allocated armored vehicles to the likes of Zekeriya Öz and launched operations against the army has changed its name today, and now an operation is being launched against democracy.
