Future Party Istanbul Deputy İsa Mesih Şahin has announced that he will not be part of the "New Path Group," which was stated to be formed in the TBMM through the cooperation of the Saadet, DEVA, and Future parties.
Making a statement on the matter via his social media account, Şahin used the following expressions:
"My tenure as the youngest Group Deputy Chairman in the TBMM, which I have held for 1.5 years, has come to an end as of today. Throughout my term, I have tried to carry the trust of our nation in the best possible way.
During this process, I have always prioritized a constructive opposition approach. I have brought all of Turkey's significant problems to the Parliament.
By combining my criticisms with solution proposals, I have endeavored to take steps that would be in the interest of our country and our nation.
I have stood by our state on all issues that directly concern our national interests."
"I WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH PASSION"
Stating that this effort and stance will continue in the same manner, Şahin said, "I wish the 'New Path Group,' which was established in the TBMM through the cooperation of the three parties, to be beneficial.
As a result of the discussions I held with our Chairman and our party boards, I will not take part in this newly formed group.
I will continue to work for our country and our nation with the same passion as on the first day."
