First statement from Ayşe Ateş following her visit with Erdoğan: 'Those who praise the criminal should think twice'

Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) President Sinan Ateş, has been meeting with political party leaders to raise awareness about her husband's murder and to ensure the truth comes to light during the court process.

As part of these meetings, Ateş visited AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan. Ayşe Ateş, who was hosted at the Palace along with her daughters, made a post on her social media account following the meeting.

Ayşe Ateş wrote the following regarding the meeting:

"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, received me and my daughters in his office. The meeting, during which he hosted us with great courtesy and which lasted for approximately one and a half hours, was also attended by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Yılmaz Tunç, and our President's Chief of Staff, Hasan Doğan. 

Our President listened to me and my daughters one by one. He gave gifts to my daughters. I would like to thank him once again in your presence.

I will provide a brief summary for all members of the press who have called to get information about the meeting we held with our President: 

Whoever has made our lives miserable with threats and slander, taking strength from our President's silence until today, whoever has made my children's lives difficult, and whoever praises crime and criminals should look at what they said yesterday and think about what they will say tomorrow. 

Because justice will surely be served, and no one will get away with what they have done.
