First statement from Erdoğan regarding the ISIS attack: 'We will continue our fight against these bloodthirsty criminals without compromise'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his statement regarding the terrorist organization ISIS's attack in Yalova that left 3 police officers martyred, stated: "We will continue our fight against the bloodthirsty criminals who threaten the peace of our nation and the security of our state, both within and beyond our borders, in a determined, multi-dimensional, and uncompromising manner."

During an operation conducted against the terrorist organization ISIS in Yalova, terrorists opened fire on security forces. As a result of the clash, 3 police officers were martyred, while 8 police officers and 1 night watchman were injured. Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 6 terrorists were killed.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also made a statement following the attack that plunged Turkey into mourning.

In a statement made on his X account, Erdoğan noted the following:

"I pray for God's mercy upon our heroic police officers who were martyred in the operation carried out against the terrorist organization DAESH in Yalova this morning; I wish patience for their families and offer my condolences to our Police Department, our country, and our nation.
