First statement from Harris, who is supported by Joe Biden

Vice President Kamala Harris, who received the endorsement of U.S. President Joe Biden after he announced his withdrawal from the presidential race for the upcoming November elections, stated that she is honored to have Biden's support. 

Targeting the Republican candidate and former U.S. President Donald Trump, Harris said, “I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party and our nation to defeat Donald Trump.”

Describing Biden's decision to withdraw from the race as “selfless and patriotic,” Harris stated that the reason for this decision was that Biden puts the American people and the U.S. above all else, adding, “We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight and together, we will win.”
