First statement from Kemal Can, who acquired Show TV and Habertürk: 'We will have no involvement'

Can Group Chairman of the Board Kemal Can spoke to Patronlar Dünyası. Stating that he and Ciner Media Group Chairman of the Board Mehmet Kenan Tekdağ are cousins, Kemal Can emphasized that they made this investment through him.
Kemal Can said, "Kenan Tekdağ is our elder brother, the head of our family. Our brother was already in the Ciner Group. From now on, he will be at the helm of the business. We will not have any involvement."

Stating that he and Ciner Media Group Chairman of the Board Mehmet Kenan Tekdağ are cousins, Kemal Can emphasized that they made this investment through him.
Kemal Can said, "Kenan Tekdağ is our elder brother, the head of our family. We have no separation between us. Our brother was already in the Ciner Group. From now on, he will be at the helm of the business. We will not have any involvement," he said.
When told that he would be sought after a lot in the media sector, he jokingly replied, "I am saying this sincerely, we will have no involvement in this business. If there are many people calling, that is Kenan's problem."
PARK GROUP ISSUED A STATEMENT
"Park Group has decided to terminate its media investments in line with its focus on the goal of global leadership in the mining industry, which is its main sector.
Within the framework of this decision, a contract has been signed for the transfer of all of Park Group's shares in Ciner Media Group to the Can Group, which also includes important educational/cultural institutions of our country such as Bilgi University and Doğa Colleges. The transfer will come into effect after the approval of the Competition Authority.
