First Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı receives his new rank
The first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, who has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, has received his new insignia.

Alper Gezeravcı, who was appointed as the Commander of the 5th Main Jet Base in Merzifon, experienced the joy of receiving his Brigadier General rank at a promotion ceremony held in his honor.
His mother, Sıddıka Gezeravcı, and his father, Ali Gezeravcı, also witnessed their son's special moment.
The ceremony was attended by Amasya Governor Önder Bakan, AKP Amasya Deputy Hasan Çilez, 15th Infantry Training Brigade Commander Brigadier General Kemal Çakıroğlu, and other protocol members.
