The AKP's grand congress, to be held on February 23, may bring significant changes to the political arena. According to claims in Ankara political circles, major changes in the cabinet, as well as in the party administration and the parliamentary group, are on the agenda.

Posta columnist Murat Çelik shared the inside information he obtained on the Para Politika program hosted by Özlem Gürses on Sözcü TV. Çelik claimed that 5 ministers could be replaced in the cabinet.

"A CHAIN REACTION OF CHANGE WILL OCCUR"

Çelik stated that the changes to take place after the congress would not be limited to the party administration and said, "We know that there will be a serious change after the grand congress. A chain reaction of change will occur in the party administration, the parliamentary group management, and likely the cabinet. At least 3-4 ministers are expected to be replaced. However, according to what I have heard, this number could rise to a maximum of 5," he expressed.

Although no clear information has been shared yet regarding the scope of this cabinet change and which names it will cover, it was emphasized that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the sole decision-maker.
