A new development has occurred in the Umut Case, which addresses the murders of journalist Uğur Mumcu, Ahmet Taner Kışlalı, Muammer Aksoy, and Bahriye Üçok.

At today's hearing of the case held at the Ankara 5th High Criminal Court, it was decided that the then-General Director of Security Mehmet Ağar would be heard as a witness.

Furthermore, it was decided to submit a written request to the General Directorate of Security to determine whether the defendant Oğuz Demir and his family currently reside in Turkey.
