Footage of armed attack on high school in Şanlıurfa emerges: He had made threats on social media
Sixteen people were injured in an armed attack on a high school in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa. It has emerged that the attacker, a former student of the school, had made threatening posts on social media prior to the incident.

An armed attack at a high school in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa has caused panic. A 19-year-old individual arrived at the Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Hasan Çelebi neighborhood and opened fire with a pump-action shotgun. Four teachers, one police officer, one canteen operator, and 10 students were injured in the attack.
The moment of the incident was captured by the school's security cameras. The footage shows the attacker entering the school with a weapon, moving through the corridors, and students fleeing in panic.
MOVED THROUGH THE CORRIDORS WITH A WEAPON
The moments when the attacker walked through the school with a pump-action shotgun and opened fire indiscriminately were recorded. The injured were taken to Siverek State Hospital by medical teams dispatched to the scene and are currently receiving treatment.
IDENTIFIED AS A FORMER STUDENT
In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior, it was stated that the person who carried out the attack was born in 2007 and was a former student of the school. The statement included the following remarks:
"An armed attack was carried out this morning at the Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa province by Ö.K., who was born in 2007 and identified as a former student of the school.
According to initial findings, 10 students, 4 teachers, 1 police officer, and 1 canteen operator were injured in the attack, and our injured are being treated at Siverek State Hospital."
TOOK HIS OWN LIFE WITH THE SAME WEAPON
The statement reported that the attacker committed suicide with the same weapon after the incident.

THREATENING POSTS EMERGE
On the other hand, it was determined that the attacker had shared messages containing threats on social media before the incident. These posts raised the possibility that the attack might have been planned in advance.
