Footage of armed bank robbery in Fatih emerges
Security camera footage of the armed bank robbery that took place in Istanbul's Fatih district has surfaced.

An armed robbery occurred yesterday evening at a bank branch located on Atatürk Boulevard in the Hacı Kadın neighborhood of Fatih, Istanbul. An individual wearing a surgical mask and carrying a firearm entered the bank, threatened the employees, and neutralized the security guard.
ARMED THREAT AT THE BANK
After taking control of the security, the suspect headed to the teller counter and took an amount of money. While exiting the bank, the suspect collided with another citizen and dropped some of the money. Despite this, they continued to flee with the remaining cash in their possession.
SUSPECT APPREHENDED SHORTLY AFTER
Police teams, acting immediately after the robbery, identified the suspect's identity and address. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody during an operation.

Security camera footage regarding the robbery has also emerged. The recordings show the moments when the masked suspect neutralized the security guard with a weapon, took the guard's firearm, and then threw a bag at the teller. The footage also shows the suspect taking the bag and quickly fleeing the bank.
