Footage of the group named C31K torturing cats has emerged: They also targeted Atatürk and the martyrs!

The footage of C31K, a group that shared videos of themselves torturing cats in a Telegram group they established while engaging in terrorist organization propaganda and hurling insults at our martyrs and Atatürk, has sparked a major backlash on social media.

While many images regarding violence against animals have surfaced, this time footage of a group advocating for the terrorist organization PKK torturing cats has emerged. 

Individuals using the name C31K, which stands for "The 31st floor of Hell," came together through a group they established on Telegram and shared footage of themselves tormenting cats. 

These images have sparked a major backlash on social media.

THEY INSULTED ATATÜRK

It has emerged that these individuals, who tortured cats by kicking them or using electric shocks, also had correspondence in their Telegram group containing insults directed at Atatürk, our martyrs, and their families while advocating for the terrorist organization.

The organization had previously shared footage of cats being tortured by being kicked or subjected to electric shocks. 

THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR HAD STATED THAT 5 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED

Previously, the Ministry of Interior had announced that an operation was carried out against members of the social media community named “C31K,” who were identified as tormenting cats and engaging in organizational propaganda, and that 5 people had been arrested.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Interior; as a result of the work carried out by the General Directorate of Security's Department of Combating Cybercrime, 5 suspects were apprehended in operations conducted in Istanbul, Mersin, Tekirdağ, Çorum, and Karabük against members of the social media community named “C31K,” who were identified as tormenting cats and engaging in organizational propaganda. It was stated that the apprehended individuals were arrested on charges of importing, reproducing, selling, transporting, and exporting obscene publications used by children, praising a crime and a criminal, intentionally killing a pet or domestic animal, and publicly inciting to commit a crime.

THEY TARGETED TAKSIM AND ESENYURT

On the other hand, it emerged that the individuals, who also shared footage of a meeting they held on January 11, 2024, on their social media accounts with their faces censored, made threats that they would cause unrest by targeting Taksim and Esenyurt. 

The Muş Governor's Office made a statement regarding the matter, saying, "A need has arisen to inform the public regarding the video shared on some social media accounts on 11.01.2024, claiming that 'a cat was tortured in Muş.' The footage in question has been investigated by the relevant units affiliated with our Muş Police Department, and it has been determined that the footage in question was not recorded in our province of Muş. The work of our relevant units continues. It is respectfully announced to the public."
