The Revenue Administration (GİB) has announced the income tax record-holders for 2024. A surprise name drew attention among the tax record-holders in Sivas. According to data from the Sivas Defterdarlığı (Provincial Tax Office), Süleyman Erdemir, who provides "engineering and consultancy services for industrial and manufacturing projects," ranked first with a tax payment of 15 million 476 thousand liras.
CHARILAOS CHARISIS RANKED SECOND
According to a report by Müslüm Evci from Sözcü newspaper, Sivasspor's Greek footballer Charilaos Charisis took second place on the list. By paying 7 million 650 thousand liras in taxes during 2024, Charisis surpassed many businesspeople to become the second-highest taxpayer in Sivas.

These notable names in Sivas revealed a similar situation in Konya. In Konya, Konyaspor's Brazilian footballer Guilherme Haubert Sitya ranked 12th with a tax payment of 12 million 567 thousand liras.
