The rising tension between the two countries has escalated further, particularly following recent incidents in the Kashmir region. It was learned that during the call, Fidan emphasized the importance Turkey places on regional stability and peace.
Director General of the Pakistan Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry detailed the targets and consequences of the attacks carried out by India in a statement. He stated that the Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bagh regions of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the cities of Bahawalpur and Muridke in Punjab province, were targeted.
According to initial assessments, 3 people lost their lives in the attacks, and 12 people, including one child, were injured. These developments have once again begun to threaten the fragile peace environment in South Asia.
