Foreign Ministry statement on ceasefire: We appreciate the efforts being made

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

The statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "We appreciate the efforts being made under the mediation of the US, Qatar, and Egypt to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. We support the implementation of the points included in the statement made today by the leaders of the aforementioned countries.

The three-phase plan contained in UN Security Council Resolution 2735 provides a suitable basis for peace. The constructive stance shown by the Palestinians regarding a ceasefire must also be demonstrated by Israel. The international community must exert the necessary pressure on the Netanyahu government," it said.
