In Mardin, a fire that started in a garden has spread to a forest. The fire broke out for an unknown reason in a garden in the rural Akarsu Neighborhood of the Nusaybin district around noon.
The flames spread rapidly due to the wind and reached the forest.
Upon notification, Fire Department and Forestry Directorate teams were dispatched to the region.
Efforts by the teams to extinguish the fire, with the support of local villagers, are ongoing.
