As a result of the effective efforts of our forest heroes throughout the day, supported by our aerial and ground vehicles, we have fully contained the fire in Alanya, Antalya.
We had contained a fire that started yesterday in the Yeşilüzümlü neighborhood of Fethiye, Muğla, this morning. A new fire that broke out today in a different spot in the same region has also been contained as a result of the intensive efforts of our teams. The fire that started today in Foça, İzmir, is also fully under control.
We have largely contained the fires in Gömeç, Balıkesir, and Gülnar-Aydıncık, Mersin.
The intensity of the fire in Çine, Aydın, has been reduced.
Our teams' intervention in the forest fire that occurred in Susurluk, Balıkesir, continues without interruption. We will continue to defend our green homeland against fires 24/7," he said.
