The fire broke out around 14:00 in a wooded area near the village of Osmanlar on the Bursa-Balıkesir border.
As the flames grew quickly due to the wind and spread rapidly, numerous fire department units and teams from the Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
While extinguishing efforts continue with 1 helicopter, 28 vehicles, and 62 personnel, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
