Forest fire in Denizli

A forest fire has broken out in Denizli. The fire occurred in the region between the Merkezefendi and Babadağ districts.

According to the information obtained, smoke began to rise from a wooded area near the summit of Karcı Mountain in the afternoon.

Following the outbreak of the fire in the forest, teams were dispatched to the region.

Teams are intervening to bring the fire under control from the ground and from the air with a firefighting helicopter.

It has been learned that there are difficulties in ground intervention due to the location being in a mountainous area.
