Forest fire in Marmaris threatens residential areas!
In the Hisarönü neighborhood of Marmaris, Muğla, sparks from roof renovations spread to a forested area. The fire, which broke out near residential zones, is being tackled by 2 helicopters, 2 aircraft, and numerous ground vehicles. Teams are working intensely to prevent the flames from reaching homes.

According to the information obtained, the fire broke out in the Hisarönü neighborhood after sparks from roof renovations on a building spread to a nearby forested area, according to initial findings. Upon notification by citizens who noticed the smoke, forestry and fire department teams were dispatched to the region.
While the fire is being fought from the ground with fire trucks and water tankers, precautions have been taken to prevent the flames from spreading to residential areas.
The firefighting efforts are being supported from the air by 2 helicopters and 2 aircraft, while 5 fire trucks and 2 water supply vehicles are involved on the ground. The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality fire department teams, gendarmerie, and police forces, along with volunteer citizens, are also assisting in the efforts.
