The fire started for an unknown reason in a forested area near the Akgedik Dam in the district.
Upon notification, teams affiliated with the Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
Efforts are ongoing to bring the fire, which is being fought from the air and the ground, under control.
