Forest fire in Muğla: Call made to citizens from mosques
A forest fire that broke out in the Menteşe district of Muğla is being fought from the air and on the ground. Efforts are underway to bring the fire under control with 9 helicopters, 6 aircraft, and numerous fire trucks.

A fire broke out for an unknown reason in a forested area in the Sarnıç locality of Denizova Neighborhood in the Menteşe district of Muğla.
Upon notification, teams from the Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
The flames, which are spreading rapidly due to the wind effective in the area, are being fought with 9 helicopters, 6 aircraft, numerous fire trucks, firefighters, and forestry workers.
Citizens are also supporting the teams with water tankers attached to the back of their tractors.
Announcements made from mosques in neighborhoods near the fire zone are calling on citizens to fill their water tankers and head to the fire area to support the teams.
The teams are continuing their efforts to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading to residential areas.
