A fire that broke out in a wooded area in the Narlıdere district of İzmir spread rapidly due to the wind. Efforts to bring the flames under control are ongoing with numerous aerial and ground vehicles dispatched to the region.

Aerial and ground intervention continues for the forest fire that broke out in the Narlıdere district of İzmir.
The fire, which started in a wooded area in Narlıdere at approximately 12:10, spread to a large area in a short time due to the effect of the wind. Upon notification, teams from the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
4 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 25 fire trucks, 5 water supply vehicles, and 3 bulldozers are taking part in the extinguishing efforts. The teams' aerial and ground intervention to bring the flames under control continues.
