A forest fire has broken out in the Karacakaş neighborhood of Soma district in Manisa.
Following a report received at 14:40, aerial and ground intervention began at 14:50 by teams from the Forestry Management Directorate and the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality fire department.
Extinguishing efforts are ongoing, with 8 aircraft, 2 helicopters, 20 water tenders, 7 water supply vehicles, and 4 bulldozers currently in operation.
