In this context, Kaftancıoğlu, who was mentioned in the testimony of suspect Ali Rıza Braka at the prosecutor's office stating, "The process on behalf of the CHP was being managed by Canan Kaftancıoğlu, who was the Provincial Chair at that time. We signed a sales contract with her at the Beyoğlu 3rd Notary Public on November 6, 2019," went to the Prosecutor's Office today to testify as a "suspect."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an ex officio investigation to uncover the material truth and determine whether there were any criminal elements regarding the footage of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Sports Club President Fatih Keleş, which was allegedly filmed at the Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Headquarters.
