While speaking at the Havza advisory board meeting, Zeybek faced harsh reactions and was pressured to step down from the podium due to his support for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Zeybek, whose speech was frequently interrupted by chants of "Chairman Özgür Özel," was forced to leave the podium following the backlash.

"I AM NOT LIKE YOU"

During his speech, which drew reactions, Zeybek responded to party members who asked who he supported as follows:

"My very dear friends, you must appreciate that I have lived through my own working period with my chairmen, group deputy chairmen, members of parliament, and the upper echelons of the party—I apologize, but—I have known and understood them better than you, and I was there in those days.

Of course, friends are rightfully asking; one must necessarily be on one side.

I am not like you, friends. Why am I not? I am not Kılıçdaroğlu’s man, nor am I Özgür Özel’s man. I am the man of the Republican People's Party! I am the man of the Republican People's Party!"

On the other hand, Zeybek had previously argued that an injustice was done to Kılıçdaroğlu following the absolute nullity decision.
