As the commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) begins its work on the new reconciliation process, which the government calls a "Terror-Free Turkey," notable statements are coming from the DEM Party, an alliance partner in the process.

Former HDP Şırnak deputy Ferhat Encü reacted to the words of MHP's Feti Yıldız, who stated, "No one should think that we will change the first 4 articles of the Constitution, Article 42, or the definition of the nation and citizenship explained in Article 66."

Targeting the Constitution, Encü accused the Republic of Turkey of being racist.

Encü's post is as follows:

"Excuse me, but then what are we talking about? If these racist, denialist, and monist laws are not going to change."
