Former IMM Medya A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Murat Ongun: The President and the Chief Public Prosecutor are meeting at the Hz. Ali Mosque for Friday prayers

Ongun stated that in his testimony to the prosecutor's office, Muhittin Palazoğlu implied his closeness to the ruling power, noting that Palazoğlu shared the "same feelings and th

oughts"as those who were arrested.Herecalled that he said he did not share thecurrent eventsin any way.

According to what Ongun reported, Muhittin Palazoğlu also made allegations regarding the foreign ministry bureaucracy.

Ongun stated that Palazoğlu used the following expressions:

“Hakan Fidan’s son is my closest friend. If you need anything, I can handle it with him, just say the word. We spent the whole summer having fun together on my boat.”Reacting to these words, Ongun said, “My dear Minister, my sincere advice is to keep your son away from this chatterbox. He also has a loose tongue.”“

Ongun noted that Muhittin Palazoğlu's mostyounger brotherEsat Palazoğlu's father-in-law, known to the public as 'Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca' (Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü), regarding whom he also made allegations.

He stated that Palazoğlu'saccount in questioncontained the following statements:

“The congregation members in the basement of his villa.There, there is nothing on the floor but a carpet. He deceives with simplicity. On the floor above, his real living room is located. It is decorated with million-dollarItalian luxury furniture and paintings with a totalvalue of 20 million dollars. It would begood if you reportedon this."

Murat Ongun stated that the details Palazoğlu recounted regarding the commercial relations of the childrenof high-level state officials would be submitted to the court in writing.
