Former police commissioner wanted for FETÖ ties found in a closet!

A fugitive former police commissioner, who had a finalized prison sentence of 6 years and 3 months for being a member of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), has been captured in Ankara.

Teams from the Ankara Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch determined that the former commissioner, B.U., who had been a fugitive for 1 year, was in the Etimesgut district.

HAS A FINALIZED 6-YEAR, 3-MONTH PRISON SENTENCE

During the operation conducted at the address identified by teams tracking the messaging application on his phone, B.U., who has a finalized 6-year, 3-month prison sentence, was captured in a hidden compartment inside a wardrobe where he was hiding. It was learned that B.U. will be sent to prison following the completion of his processing.
