A fire broke out in the morning at an ironwork workshop owned by Ali Ün in the Orta Anadolu Industrial Site in the Hamidiye neighborhood of Karaman. It was determined that the fire started due to sparks flying from a stove that had been left burning.
Bystanders who noticed the flames rising around 06:30 reported the situation to the police and fire department. Fire crews arrived at the scene in a short time and brought the flames under control by intervening in the fire.

While the workshop sustained minor damage due to the fire, business owner Ali Ün stated that 1 million TL he had been keeping in a bucket was completely burned in the blaze.
In the investigations conducted by the police and fire department, it was determined that the fire broke out due to sparks flying from the stove. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
