In the Babaeski district of Kırklareli, citizens who noticed that the color of the Şeytandere stream had changed reported the situation to the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
Upon the report, teams were dispatched to the region. The teams conducted an inspection of the stream and collected samples.
Disturbed by the foul odor emanating from the stream, citizens demanded that the problem be resolved as soon as possible.
