A foundation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organization will be established. 10 million liras will be transferred from the budget

According to the legislative proposal accepted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly, a foundation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organization will be established.

The legislative proposal for the Foundation for Strengthening the Foreign Service, which was discussed in the TBMM General Assembly, has been accepted and enacted. According to the accepted articles, the Foundation for Strengthening the Foreign Service will be established to strengthen the Foreign Service and to train personnel who are well-equipped and have high representation capabilities.

The foundation will be able to purchase or lease movable and immovable property and, when necessary, leave their use partially or entirely to the Ministry. The foundation will be able to establish a higher education institution.

The foundation's revenues will consist of donations and aid, income obtained from conferences, seminars, national and international meetings organized by the foundation, income obtained from services provided by the foundation, income provided from educational and training activities, and the amount to be transferred to the foundation from visa brokerage services after deducting the share to be transferred to the general budget.

The foundation will be exempt from inheritance and gift tax arising from donations, as well as title deed fees for immovable properties, property tax, and taxes and fees related to immovable properties.

Ten million liras will be transferred from the Ministry's budget for the establishment of the foundation.
