Four CHP officials summoned for questioning: Reaction from CHP's Deniz Yavuzyılmaz

The CHP Zonguldak Provincial Youth Branch President, Provincial Women's Branch President, Central District President, and one Provincial Executive have been summoned to the police station to provide statements on the grounds that they participated in a support march organized for Ekrem İmamoğlu.

A statement regarding the matter came from CHP Deputy Chairman and Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz. Publishing a statement on his social media account, Yavuzyılmaz stated that they will be in Zonguldak tomorrow and described the process as an "effort of pressure and intimidation."

Yavuzyılmaz included the following statements in his announcement:

“I am going to Zonguldak for the police statements. My dear fellow travelers, our Mayor Tahsin Erdem’s prosecutor statement was taken on Friday because he participated in the support march held for Ekrem İmamoğlu in Zonguldak. Tomorrow, our Provincial Youth Branch President, Provincial Women's Branch President, Central District President, and one Provincial Executive have been summoned to the police station to have their statements taken.

Pressure and intimidation efforts against our party and our people continue at full speed. However, we are not afraid, we are not discouraged, and we continue the struggle. For us, these statement processes are a medal of honor. This struggle will continue until we see our presidential candidate by our side, the ballot box in front of us, and our party in power.”
