List of fraudulent products updated: 3 new products added to the list

The 'Foods Subject to Imitation and Adulteration' list published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has become a major topic of discussion in Turkey. The Ministry has added 3 more products to the list.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to announce products found to be non-compliant as a result of its inspections. While the list, which includes famous brands, continues to grow, it has been closely followed by citizens ever since it was announced that Köfteci Yusuf had added pork to its meatballs.

MINISTRY ADDS 3 MORE NEW PRODUCTS

3 new products have been added to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's 'Foods Subject to Imitation or Adulteration' list.

Poultry meat was detected in beef-lamb grilled meatballs, while seed oil was detected in the extra virgin olive oil of two separate brands.

It was stated that if suspicious food products are detected, reports should be made via the ALO 174 hotline.

On the other hand, health experts frequently warn citizens not to purchase products from markets they do not trust or products advertised on social media.
