A note hung on the window of a bakery in the Sungurlu district of Çorum surprised passersby. The bakery owner, who was struggling with a coin shortage, is giving away a free loaf of bread to anyone who brings 90 liras in coins.

A solution devised by a bakery business in Sungurlu to address its coin shortage has drawn attention.
The shopkeeper, who hung a sign on the window reading "Free bread for those who bring 90 TL in coins," has both resolved the coin shortage and supported the citizens in this way.
"WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM"
Business owner Aytekin Şahan stated that they are gifting bread to those who bring coins, saying, "We had a major problem regarding coins; even though we requested them from banks, we could not obtain any.
Since there are examples of this in Turkey, we decided to give it a try ourselves," he said.
