Friend describes attacker in Kahramanmaraş: 'He was an obsessive kid who picked fights with everyone'
A student at the middle school in Kahramanmaraş where the armed attack took place described the murder suspect, İsa Aras Mersinli, as an obsessive person who would do anything he saw.

In the armed attack that took place at Ayser Çalık Middle School in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş, 10 people lost their lives. While silence prevailed at the school in the morning hours, a student studying at the school who did not want to disclose their name described the murder suspect.
"HE WAS ALREADY AN OBSESSIVE KID"
Stating that the attacker was obsessive, the student said, "The kid was already an obsessive child. He was a kid who would do anything he saw. I think this school needs security. Because a kid like that had no place in the school. He was a kid who would do anything he saw. As if that wasn't enough, he was a kid who picked fights with everyone. He didn't even have any friends at school. He had one friend, and he was just like him. He was an introverted kid. He was in the 8-G class. He wouldn't interact with anyone. So many people's children passed away; security is a must for this school," they said.
