Frightening fire at a shopping mall in Istanbul

A fire broke out on the roof of the Neomarin Shopping Center in Istanbul's Pendik district around noon today. Upon the discovery of the fire, visitors and employees inside the shopping center were quickly evacuated as a security precaution.

Following reports of the fire, numerous fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams worked intensely at the site to bring the flames under control and to ensure that no one remained inside.

While no official statement has yet been made regarding the cause of the fire or whether there were any casualties or injuries, security forces took precautions in the surrounding area and did not allow citizens to approach the scene.
