Fuel tanker overturns on highway

A tanker full of fuel overturned on the side of the road and began to burn on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Highway in the direction of Ceyhan at around 21:00.
According to allegations, the fuel-laden tanker, whose license plate and driver's name could not be determined, overturned on the side of the road. Following the accident, a fire broke out in the tanker, and upon notification by those in the vicinity, numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the region.
TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL
The injured tanker driver was taken to the hospital. While the fire was extinguished after approximately 1 and a half hours of intervention by the teams, long queues of vehicles formed on the highway. With the fire extinguished, traffic was allowed to flow in a controlled manner from a single lane.
