Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known in the public eye as Cübbeli Ahmet, made striking statements regarding the ISIS operation conducted in Yalova.
Ünlü claimed that a significant portion of the files they submitted to the police was related to the ISIS structure in Yalova. Regarding the operation in which 3 police officers were martyred and 6 ISIS members were killed, Ünlü alleged that the police were aware of this situation in advance.

Ünlü shared the comprehensive report they prepared in cooperation with police units. Stating that 80 pages of the 1500-page file, prepared as a result of a study lasting approximately two months, were devoted solely to the ISIS structure in Yalova, Ünlü expressed that this situation reveals that the organization in Yalova has existed for a long time.
Ünlü made statements that reinforce the claims that Yalova is one of the ISIS structures in Turkey.
Pointing out that ISIS operates by using gathering areas and buildings in certain cities, Ünlü asked the question, "How and why are these structures permitted?"
Ünlü said that they had previously made serious warnings to the police regarding such structures, but that it is unacceptable that these individuals are still being given space.
Ünlü also drew attention to the digital history of the attacker who participated in the operation in Yalova. Stating that the social media posts of the person in question included content belonging to Halis Bayancuk, one of the leading names of ISIS in Turkey, Ünlü said, "Halis Bayancuk appears in all of this person's posts. Despite this, it is unacceptable that these names are still given large spaces and that they are allowed to operate in places where thousands of people gather."
Ünlü stated that they were in close contact with the police during this process and that they achieved significant cooperation in the creation of the file. However, he stated that they did not apply directly to the prosecutor's office and that they only provided information to special units of the police.
Ünlü emphasized that the 80-page Yalova report included in the file shows that such activities constitute a problem that has spread over years and cannot be ignored.
