It was announced that all 20 personnel on board the plane were martyred. Following the crash, a large-scale search and rescue operation was launched in the area.
The black box, seen as the most important element to shed light on the cause of the accident, was found as a result of investigations conducted in the wreckage area.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The cargo plane, which took off from Trabzon at 09:50 on November 11, first landed in the city of Ganja, Azerbaijan, at 11:06.
After waiting there for a while, the plane took off from Ganja at 13:20 to return to Turkey and disappeared from radar 27 minutes after takeoff. The cause of the plane's crash is not yet known.
The black box, a recording mechanism that logs radio conversations inside the plane and the aircraft's systems, will shed light on the mystery. While experts are working on a preliminary report at the wreckage site, it was learned that the parts collected from the area and the recovered black box would be taken to a military base in Kayseri for examination.
