2nd wave operation against IMM: List of detained individuals revealed!

As part of the operations conducted against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), detention warrants were issued for 53 people. Simultaneous raids were carried out in the early hours of the morning at designated addresses in Istanbul, Ankara, and Tekirdağ.

In this context, 47 people were taken into custody during the operation at their homes, including IMM Deputy Secretary General Arif Gürkan Alpay, İSKİ General Manager Şafak Başa, İSKİ Deputy General Manager Begüm Çelikdelen, IMM Head of Zoning and Urbanization Department Ramazan Gülten, as well as Kadriye Kasapoğlu, Chief of Staff to IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, and Gözdem Ongun, the wife of Medya A.Ş. executive Murat Ongun.

It was learned that Cevdet Kaya, the brother of Ekrem İmamoğlu's wife Dilek İmamoğlu, was also among those detained. Meanwhile, it was reported that 6 suspects are at large and efforts to apprehend them are ongoing.
