MasterChef 2024, featuring jury members Mehmet Yalçınkaya, Danilo Zanna, and Somer Sivrioğlu, continues to meet viewers with its exciting new episodes.

PRIZE GAME CHALLENGE

While the blue team won the week with a 3-0 score under the captaincy of Nigar and Muratcan, the prize game was played on Friday evening, October 25.

In the first round, the chefs gave the teams bonito and asked for 5 types of dishes, stating that they should prepare a cold appetizer, a warm appetizer, stuffed bonito, steamed fish, and pan-fried fish.

CHEFS' REACTION TO THE MARKET

Angered by the teams taking many products during the market shopping before the game, the chefs reacted to the unused items taken from the market, saying, "We talk about zero waste, look at what the contestants are doing."

WINNING TEAM ANNOUNCED

After the tasting, the winning team was the red team with a 4-1 score. The red team contestants, who won for the first time this week, moved to their stations individually for the prize.

In the second round, the chefs asked the red team contestants to make "Apple Strudel".

ONE PIECE OF GOOD AND ONE PIECE OF BAD NEWS FROM THE CHEFS

After tasting and making their decision, the chefs called all the contestants forward.

Then, Chef Somer said he had one piece of good news and one piece of bad news. When the contestants asked him to deliver the bad news, he stated that none of the desserts were deemed worthy of winning the prize.

"IF THE DISH DOESN'T COME OUT RIGHT, THERE IS A PROBLEM"

Chef Mehmet said, "We can have fun and laugh about everything, but when it comes to food, we take it seriously. If the dish doesn't come out right, there is a problem. Unfortunately, while the dish is being explained, everyone is chasing something else. None of you listened to the criteria for the dish. Nigar, you are a pastry chef of many years. It should have powdered sugar on top, the apples inside are raw and diced. Semih, your dough is thick, yours turned into a wrap. Ezgi, you said 'I made it at school' but it looks like everything except a strudel. Alper, you listened to us, your dough is good, but you made the filling a puree instead of chunks. Erim, yours is like a savory pastry, and the bottom is burnt. You will take cooking seriously here. Beyza, you didn't listen at all, you were busy with other things. Kerem, it's a pity. If it had cooked, it could have been discussed. As the only contestant who listened to us, you understood the method, but the dough is raw. It's up to you whether you listen or not."

PRIZE ROLLED OVER

Announcing the good news, Chef Somer said, "We are not giving away 100 thousand TL this week, but we are rolling the prize over to next week."

REACTION TO ERIM'S WORDS

Following this, Erim said, "I thought you would distribute it to us for our effort in the team game," to which Somer Sivrioğlu responded.

Chef Somer said, "Here, a penalty is given for a dish that cannot be made, not a prize."
