Significant developments are taking place regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who was killed in Diyarbakır.
Aggravated life imprisonment has been requested for 4 individuals involved in the disappearance of the body.
Four people, including Narin's brother Enes, her mother Yüksel, her uncle Salim, and villager Nevzat Bahtiyar, are accused of committing the murder.
Legal expert Dr. Rezan Epözdemir addressed the villagers, stating that the truth must be revealed and emphasizing that the motive for the murder has still not been clarified.
"SHE MAY HAVE SEEN ENES IN AN IMMORAL ACT"
Rezan Epözdemir made the following statements in his remarks:
"The process of making the body disappear was amateurish; Narin either saw Enes in a physical encounter with an animal or she saw an immoral encounter of Enes.
Later, the mother and uncle got involved. This task was offloaded to Nevzat Bahtiyar. The process of making the body disappear was amateurish; the body was thrown into the river. In the following 19 days, there was fear and panic.
"IS THERE NOT ONE HONORABLE, DIGNIFIED VILLAGER?"
I am calling out from here. Is there not one honorable, dignified villager? A young girl is murdered; will this village live with this shame for a lifetime? Not one person goes to the prosecutor to tell the truth. There have been statements that caused public outrage, and politicians have spoken about this issue.
"AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENT SOUGHT FOR 4 PEOPLE! BUT WHY WAS THE MURDER COMMITTED?"
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is seeking aggravated life imprisonment for four people. Aggravated life imprisonment is requested for Nevzat Bahtiyar, Yüksel Güran, Salim Güran, and Enes Güran, citing them as joint perpetrators.
But why was this murder committed? There is no explanation for this.
This case could reach a verdict on Thursday; otherwise, it will remain for the next hearing."
