Ali Kıdık, who resigned from the İYİ Party, suffers a brain hemorrhage

Ali Kıdık, who was elected as an IMM Council Member from the İYİ Party in the local elections and later resigned, has recently come to the fore due to a health issue. It has been learned that Kıdık suffered a brain hemorrhage.

Following the post made on his own social media account stating "I have suffered a brain hemorrhage," Kıdık's relatives and loved ones were alarmed.

Numerous "Get well soon" messages were sent to Kıdık, who also serves as the General Publication Coordinator for Airporthaber.

Kıdık, who served as a Founding Board Member of the İYİ Party Istanbul Provincial Organization and as an IMM Council Member, resigned from his party on January 3, 2024.

WHO IS ALİ KIDIK?

He was born on August 24, 1968, in the Göreli district of Giresun. Kıdık, who attended primary school in Giresun, later entered Bakırköy Vocational High School. Due to his passion for journalism, he worked as an unpaid reporter for the Bakırköy Postası newspaper. Kıdık entered the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University in Eskişehir but left his studies in 1989. He began working at Günaydın Newspaper.

Kıdık, who worked as a reporter for the TGRT Yankı program for a period, later began working in the TGRT Special News Service. However, he resigned a year later and joined the production team for the TGRT series Beyaz Savaş and Bizim Ev. In 1995, he founded his own production company. In 1996, he broadcast an aviation program called VIP on the Kanal 6 channel. This program was later shown on many other channels.

In 2001, he facilitated the publication of the magazine titled Civil Aviation Authority, which was under the Ministry of Transport's Directorate General of Civil Aviation. He also served as the editor-in-chief of the magazine.

In 2002, he became a parliamentary candidate nominee for the AK Party from Istanbul. He decided not to run during the election process.

He worked for a time as an advisor to the then-Minister of Transport, Binali Yıldırım. After a period of about 8 months, he began writing columns for the newspaper Türkiye Haberci. In 2005, he began publishing AirportHaber. He served as the editor-in-chief at AirportHaber.

In 2008, he founded Airport TV, which continued its broadcasting life for 2.5 years. He became one of the founding members of the İYİ Party, which was established in 2017. In the 2019 local elections, he became a Küçükçekmece Municipal Council Member from the İYİ Party. İYİ Party IMM Council Member Ali Kıdık announced that he had resigned from his party.
