Another döner chain targeted in FETÖ operation following Maydonoz Döner: Links to the organization identified
Following operations against the famous restaurant chain Maydonoz Döner, which was determined to have provided financing to FETÖ, another döner chain has been targeted in FETÖ operations. 23 people were detained in simultaneous raids conducted in Istanbul, Ankara, and Samsun. Those detained include police officers, soldiers, teachers, a prosecutor, and retired religious affairs officials.

Operations continue against the Maydonoz Döner chain, which was found to have provided financial support to the armed terrorist organization FETÖ and has expanded across Turkey in recent years. The company, which previously made headlines with the 'Kıskaç-40' operation carried out in 31 provinces, has been targeted again, this time with a focus on Samsun.
CONDUCTED WITH MASAK AND MIT SUPPORT
Within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a total of 353 suspects had previously been detained with the support of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
23 PEOPLE APPREHENDED IN NEW WAVE
In the new operation carried out under the instruction of the Samsun Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as part of the investigation, simultaneous raids were conducted in the provinces of Istanbul, Ankara, and Samsun. While 23 suspects were detained, it was learned that the suspects included dismissed police officers, soldiers, teachers, prosecutors, and retired religious affairs officials.
A large number of digital materials were seized during the searches. Among these, in addition to computers, mobile phones, memory cards, and SIM cards, 389 thousand 230 TL and 250 US dollars in cash, as well as 4 diaries containing information linked to the organization, were confiscated.
The suspects' money transfers, commercial activities, and communication traffic related to the organization had been monitored through technical and physical surveillance for approximately 7 months. The operation was launched based on the data obtained.
In the ongoing investigation, FETÖ operations were also conducted against another döner chain, Kral Döner. It was stated that this restaurant, which operates in Samsun, was opened in connection with the partners of Maydonoz Döner and was placed under investigation on suspicion of similarly providing financing to the organization. It was learned that Kral Döner is also being monitored as part of the investigation and that new developments may occur in the coming period.
